Small town cowboy has romantic interlude (pretty clean) with highly educated and accomplished Japanese American lawyer. This was a short fluffy Christmas holiday book. At first I thought it was cute and enjoyed it, but once the characters got too physical, I was pretty disappointed. Did not lift my heart as stated on cover. How the author could give it to my Asian husband is beyond me.

Since I can't give half-stars, I decided to promote it to four rather than demote it to three because I was impressed at how well-developed it was considering that it was only 87 pages long and told three different stories. The cover and the blurb would definitely have drawn my attention in a bookstore and would have had me skimming the first few pages and then tossing it into my buggy. great book. She did not become a full-time writer until she had written another two books (She’s The One and Never Too Late) and finally decided to leave the world of journalism in 2001, moving to HarperCollins Publishers at the same time. It is all about a group of people who find themselves staying at this hotel in Corfu. Picked up this short read from the library and finished it in a couple of hours... Good book, but needed to be longer I think..
Light, easy read about 3 different sets of people (2 friends, a couple and a recently widowed woman) who go to a Greek island to discover the truth about love and find their happy ending.

For a short story there were to many characters. I would have preferred it if it had mainly just been about 2 people or so when it is a quick read. But would wealthy bachelor Trace Franklin become the perfect groom-to-be by Christm. I agree with the other readers by saying this should have been a longer book.

I still recommend this story because you may love it. What was a holiday without a handsome husband? I enjoyed this story, but it was so short that I missed the normal character development and descriptions about the town and its traditions. There are no discussion topics on this book yet.
I think the tension, desire, and love would have built stronger had the main characters not jumped into bed the first chance they got. Rather odd ending also. I have to admit I downloaded this as a quick read as I just had a couple of books to go before I'd reached my target of 150 books read this year.

The editing was poor, but the story was cute. But if you want a short entertaining story, this fits the bill. Lost count of who was who. I imagined it to be about people on holiday but it skimmed that to coming home and I feel lost.
