My main issue is that it was too boring. Fun fact: Horror legend Mario Bava worked as cinematographer and special effects artist. The original that pretty much started the "sword and sandal" genre.
But the henchman has done his job well; upon arrival the Fleece is missing, and Pelius charges Jason and his crew with treason.

It looks the part, Steve Reeves is ideally cast and the chain whipping finale is admittedly fun, but everything else is somewhere between bland and grating.
